Our time is precious. There are few products that have really changed the way we live. Today, we wouldn't wait for dial-up internet access. We wouldn't
sit in a living room with the phone cord stretched from the kitchen just to take a call. High-speed internet and mobile phones have given us instant connection and our
time back. So, why are we waiting for hot water?
How often do you multi-task while waiting for hot water only to realize by the time you return to the shower or sink, it’s been hot? All that water (cold AND hot) has simply gone down the drain along with your money, time, and energy that could have been better spent on other things.
Once you experience the freedom of instant hot water, you won't want to wait for the water to warm up ever again. Recirculation systems give us the comfort and convenience of instant hot water so we can do what we need to and move on with our lives.
Our water is precious. Less than 1% of the fresh water on Earth is readily accessible for human consumption 1. A typical family of four wastes up to 12,000 gallons of water per year simply waiting for hot water 2. That’s the equivalent of 90,840 plastic water bottles (16.9 fl oz) per family, per year just poured down the drain. And, that also means it’s your money in utility fees going with it.

APCOM© recirculation systems are the most energy efficient circulators available on the market today. The operating costs are minimal, varying from $2 to $8 per year for the largest
system. The pumps pay for themselves within one to three years, contingent on local utility rates.
Each APCOM© Recirculation System is fully automatic and controlled by built-in sensors and switches. When the water at the faucet cools down, the sensor turns on the pump. The pump shuts off when the hot water arrives. Depending upon the length and size of the pump, the pump will run three to four times per hour for one to two minutes to maintain instant hot water at the faucet.
These are easy to install yourself or contact a licensed plumber for pump installation at the water heater.
If you have a dedicated return line or are not sure which pump you need, contact a licensed plumber to discuss other APCOM© recirculation system models available for your home.
